These are an awesome treat to make with your little ones. They have no processed sugar, just sweetened with mother natures good stuff.
Sugar Free Cookies
1/3 cup Honey
1 cup Flour
1/2 cup Self-raising flour
1/2 tsp Bicard soda
1 tsp Vanilla essence
2 tbs Nut butter (we like to use peanut butter)
10 Dates (soaked in water)
2 tbs Milk
Preheat your oven to 200°C and line a baking tray with some baking paper.
Drain the dates, then blend them into a smooth paste.
Sift all the dry ingredients together, then add the butter and rub together until the mixture resembles fine breadcrumbs.
Add the remaining ingredients and knead until everything is mixed in.
Lightly cover a clean surface with some flour, then roll out the cookie dough to about 2cm thick.
Cut out your desired cookie shape and place on your prepared baking tray.
Cook for 10-15 minutes.
Store in an airtight container for up to 1 week.
