Twisted Spinach Puffs

Twisted Spinach Puffs

So simple yet so delicious! I usually only make these when I've made a pie and have those annoying left over bits of Puff Pastry that I don't really want to throw away. I love how the puff pastry explodes and leaves you with chewy cheese centre, it's really special. I should make these more often.

Recipe

Twisted Spinach Puffs

Ingredients

  • 2 Sheets Puff Pastry

  • 1 cup Grated Cheddar & Parmesan Cheese (grated)

  • 1 cup Baby Spinach

Directions

  1. Preheat your oven to 180°c and line a baking tray with baking paper.

  2. Simply lay 1 sheet of puff pastry on a clean surface. Sprinkle the cheeses and spinach on the pastry in thin rows.

  3. Place the second sheet of puff pastry on top, then cut lengthways between the filling (about 3 cm thick).

  4. Give each strip a gentle twist then place onto the prepared baking tray.

  5. Bake for 10-15 minutes, let it rest for 5 minutes and enjoy.

Not as good reheated, so eat up.
