Power Porridge
Porridge is a perfect breakfast choice for the whole family. We called this one 'Power Porridge' because rolled oats give long lasting energy, it's delicious and creamy, and it's super easy to make. My Dad used to make this porridge for me when I was a kid, but you can make it your own by adding any fruit or seeds you and your little one like. Serves 2

Power Porridge
Ingredients
1/2 cup Rolled Oats
1 cup Milk
1/2 cup Water
1/2 tsp Cinnamon
1 tbs Flax seeds
1 tbs Honey
Directions
In a small saucepan, bring the milk, water, cinnamon and oats to boil (and a pinch of salt if you want at this point).
Cook for 5-10 minutes, stirring constantly as the liquid can get soaked up quickly and stick to the bottom.
Once the oats have softened, add the flax seeds and honey and let it rest for a few minutes.
Serve on its own, or with some shredded coconut or fresh berries.
Best eaten immediately.
