Wholesome Fried Rice

A simple, quick and easy dinner for the whole family to share. The best thing about fried rice is you can add essentially any veg you like. Capsicum and broccoli work really well too.

Wholesome Fried Rice

Ingredients

  • 1 tbs Butter

  • 2 Eggs (whisked)

  • 1 large Carrot (peeled & diced)

  • 1/2 Onion (diced)

  • 1/2 cup Frozen Peas

  • 2 cups Cooked Brown rice

  • 1 1/2 tbs Soy sauce

Directions

  1. Heat up some butter in a pan, add the whisked egg and stir to make scrambled egg. Once cooked transfer to a plate and set aside.

  2. Heat up some sesame oil and add the onion and carrot and cook till soft, roughly 5 minutes.

  3. Add the peas, brown rice and soy sauce to the pan and stir to combine.

  4. Lastly, add the cooked egg, stir in it and serve.

* Store in an airtight container in the fridge for up to 3 days
