Pesto has a very distinct flavour, and you might be surprised with your little ones' preference to this dish. It's full of good, hearty, healthy fats and antioxidants. Perfect with some pasta.
Pappa's Pesto Pasta
1 cup tightly packed fresh basil
1/4 cup pine nuts
1/4 cup olive oil
1/2 cup parmesan cheese
Simply blend all ingredients together until you have a smooth paste and serve with some cooked pasta (sprinkle a bit of parmesan cheese if you feel like being a little fancy).
